New ‘NPDGull’ announces national commercial offer and investment plans

NPD and Gull have formally completed their merger, with a new ‘NPDGull’ entity to oversee the Gull and NPD brands and drive stronger fuel competition for customers.

NPD and Gull sites will remain under their existing brands, while enjoying the newly enhanced benefits of operating under a larger scale of operation.

NPDGull has today launched a national commercial fuel offer, extending the acceptance of the NPD fuel card across the majority of the company’s 240 retail sites from Kaitaia to Invercargill. Customers can find full details, including how new commercial customers can sign up, at NPDGull.nz

NPDGull Group Chief Executive Barry Sheridan says today’s announcement will be supported by further investments that will ultimately continue to improve the competitiveness of its offer and quality of its service.

“We’ll significantly enhance the size of our North Island operations, enlarging our delivery fleet, acquiring more storage tank options,  and bring on new team members in our operations and sales areas to leverage the strength of our network and supply chain,” says Barry.

“From ‘Port to the Pump’, across the North Island, we’ll control every step, improving the resilience of supply to our sites, and to customers in industrial and remote areas.”

NPDGull will now extend its proven, customised fuel solution offers to national fuel users across NZ, from a dedicated and professionally trained sales team.

“We’re focusing on our popular self-serve model across our sites nationwide. We will be leveraging our buying power and keeping our costs low, so we can continue to deliver the competitive pricing we are renowned for. Whether filling up at your local NPD or Gull, you’ll get great value at every site.”
